Liana Cassar
Advisory Board Chair

Liana Cassar, OASIS’ Advisory Board Chair, founded OASIS in 2022 and served as its Director during its first 3 years. She spent 2+ decades in the healthcare sector prior to running for office in 2018. Liana served 2 terms in the Rhode Island House of Representatives and currently serves as an elected Town Councilor.


Heidi Gerbracht
Interim Director

Heidi Gerbracht is OASIS’ Interim Director. She joined OASIS in 2025, after having directed the Collaborative Governance Academy, formerly known as the PGA, a program that trains local and state elected officials. Heidi has deep experience in local government and supporting elected officials, including as Founder and Director of the Women Mayors Network.


Teena Lewis
Wellness Practitioner

Teena Lewis is OASIS’ Wellness Practitioner, designing accessible care-centered mindfulness practices for OASIS cohort members to use individually and in community. Teena’s synthesized approach helps OASIS participants integrate holistic practices into their work lives. As a multi-modality somatic healer she blends the art and science of healing and wellbeing with the power of ancient and indigenous medicine.

Gayle Goldin
Executive Director,
Family Values @ Work

Gayle Goldin is Executive Director of Family Values @ Work. She served 4 terms in the RI State Senate before leaving in 2021 to become Deputy Director of the US Department of Labor’s Women’s Bureau where she managed a broad policy portfolio including paid leave, paid sick time, child care, gender equity and workplace protections.


Felicia Brabec
Mental Health Clinician/
Former Michigan State Representative

Felicia Brabec served 2 terms in the Michigan House of Representatives and served 9 years on the Washtenaw County Commission. Felicia has been a practicing clinical psychologist and social worker for three decades and is currently running in the August 2026 Primary for a seat in the Michigan State Senate.



Jean Sinzdak
Associate Director, Center for American Women and Politics

Jean Sinzdak is Associate Director of the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP) at Rutgers University. She directs CAWP's Program for Women Public Officials, and oversees CAWP's New Jersey initiatives. Prior to joining CAWP, she worked with the Institute for Women's Policy Research (IWPR) and the Council for Urban Economic Development.
